Adolescents/Teenagers

 

At San Diego BrainWorks we work with teenagers to help them better understand themselves and create a sense of self, a sense of security, and a sense of what what might the underlying reason for their symptoms. We offer Insight-oriented therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to target immediate issues and to also address deeper feelings and emotions. We are solution focused, kind, compassionate and effective therapists who create strong relationships with the teenagers and families that we work with.

Depending on the situation, psychological or neuropsychological testing may also be necessary to identify presence of ADHD, learning disabilities, psychological diagnosis, and to aid in effective and targeted treatment plans.
